Academic Catalog

Artios courses are a focused, flexible, and financially-responsible way to increase your influence as a Christian.

Online Courses

Each 5-week online course is designed to create a focused learning community that fosters meaningful engagement with peers and an instructor. Instructors are vibrant 21st century Christian leaders who are committed to equipping followers of Christ to develop a more intentional perspective of leadership. Each week provides activities that allow you to grow and interact with one another as you apply the material. Online discussion boards allow you to build relationships as you post comments to classmates. (There are no scheduled “discussion” times. You have the freedom to login and post at your convenience provided the posts are submitted prior to set due dates.)

Students should plan on logging in a minimum of 3 times each week. However, when you login is completely up to you. It is recommended that students plan to login at least once at the beginning of each week and a few times during the latter part of the week.

Artios courses are five weeks long. Students should dedicate an average of 15-20 hours per week per 4-credit course.

Computer and Internet Requirements

Because of the lecture component in each course, students will need a computer capable of playing Adobe Flash Video and a high-speed internet connection with a download speed of at least 1 Mbps.

You can test your internet connection by visiting http://www.speedtest.net.  Click the "GO" button and when the test completes check that the listed download speed is at least 1 Mbps.

Satellite Campus

An Artios satellite campus provides classes in a hybrid learning format. Satellite courses cover the same objectives from Artios Christian College’s online classes but include a live/in-person component for a more interactive learning environment.

Satellite campus schedules, course offerings, and policies vary. Click here for information for each satellite campus.
